They are very honest just like the name of business states. I felt there was personal touch and they took care of my oil change and brake. There rates are very much competitive to market and the owner was still willing to discount with coupons. I plan to take all my cars for service

This place is amazing!! They truly are honest, the place is clean, and they couldn't be nicer. I took my nearly 10 year old car in and asked them to check over everything to see what problems I might have. Brad called less than an hour later to say nothing needed repair, all was okay for now. What mechanic says that?? They also texted me a photo of my car being serviced and a full report. Brad is the best, SO friendly and helpful, totally trustworthy. The best!! Like most people, I'm always apprehensive about bringing my car to a mechanic, fearing a sky-high estimate of things I need done. After reading the great reviews, I brought my car to Honest-1 for what I thought would surely be some possibly pricey work. Their name says it all - they truly are honest, friendly, and they don't oversell or overcharge. Brad greets you with a friendly hello and is the best, the waiting area is nice and clean with cokes, coffee, tv to watch - and Brad even left a "thank you" packet of candies on my steering wheel! Great service and staffs :)

The people who worked there were very nice/welcoming when I first came in to get my A/C worked on. I don't know much about cars and they were very informative about what they would try and do and what each service could cost. Found out it was an electrical issue, which initially got me worried about the price, but they were able to still get it fixed and now my A/C is working better than when the car was first purchased, and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quick fix and great service! Thanks Honest-1 Auto Care!

Honest 1-Auto care of Costa Mesa should change their name to dishonest auto careless. I decided to use them for an out of state used car purchase and regret having done so. Before moving forward with the inspection, I discussed with them their inspection process and my expectations as well. I was promised a 120 point inspection with a written report and countless photos of the car, we discussed specific items needing inspection and specific photos needed. After quickly performing the inspection i received a call with verbal feedback the car was fine and they wanted payment. I asked about the report and photos and they simply told me the car was fine and because the car was practically new (even though it is 5 years old) and there was nothing I should worry about. I demanded an actual inspection report and photos as originally promised. They sent me a blank form a report with no notes of any kind and no items filled out. I brought this to their attention and they sent over a report of only 70 items inspected (including insignificant components of the car) and they simply just checked green boxes saying all is good with minimal notes that turned out to be inaccurate after another inspection revealed different results. As an example, they told me the tread on the tires was worn but in fact the tires were brand new with less than 20 miles on them. I called them out for failing to honor their promise of a 120 point inspection and not getting me requested photos and they just brushed it off and insisted the 5 year old car was practically new and there was nothing to inspect suggesting they likely didn't even do an inspection. I could not believe they would lie about such a simple service request but i guess they figured since I was out of state I would not be a source of future business and they could not care less about how they treated me. If they treated me this poorly for such a simple inspection, you have to ask yourself whether they would be honest about a more complex repair problem. Dealing with them made me realize they are dishonest and incompetent in performing even the simplest service request. I am beyond disappointed with the poor service and still cannot believe how poorly they handled this simple inspection. Shame on them.
