Costa Mesa Auto Repair

Being a female, I feel taken advantage of most of the time whether I take my auto to the dealer or a mechanic for service. I don't understand anything about cars and I can certainly tell you "all females" who like me don't understand anything about cards...THIS IS A WONDERFUL PLACE TO COME TO!!!. Mr. McBride has a personality that is BIGGER THAN LIFE, and Mrs. McBride is sweet and amazing. This is a family owned business and I appreciate the care Brad personally gave me. He took the time to tell me what my car needed and why it needed it. He also told me what I need to take care of in the future. They also take great care of my dad, who happens to be the most important person in the world to me, of course! :)

I love this shop. The customer service and the actual work they provide. Brad is a great Owner and I trust the guys here implicitly. So much so that I drive from San Diego to Orange County when I need major work done on my 120K+ mile car. I can wait in their comfortable waiting area where drinks are provided. Doesn't get much better than this H1 Auto Care.

I took my old Camry in for a couple things, my engine light and my blower resistor. They found a few more faults that could have been fixed and I agreed to what I was told and that amount came to about $1600 which is almost the value of my car. I thought that this would make it run beautifully and I wouldn't need a repair for quite some time. Two days after getting it back the engine light was on and was acting up more so than when I brought it in. There was an unnecessary back and forth between myself and the owner about reimbursement of $800.00 seeing as how I did not approve what was on the breakdown I was given. All in all I have not received compensation for either his rude demeanor or for the repairs not authorized. I am even wondering if the other fixes were done in the first place. But I just got it back and so far so good. Not a problem :-) Would not recommend them to anyone though :-(

There were issues at first, my car was worse than when I brought it in. I wanted a refund on the repairs I did not authorize and that was a fiasco. Under their warranty given and his word he still had my car done. So far it's going well, I haven't had any issue with it.

I took my SUV in for a comprehensive inspection and I was greeted kindly and the interaction was pleasant. I thought I was going in to set an appointment for service, but they were able to take it at that moment. My car came out with a clean bill of health and I was advised about the battery coming to the end of its lifespan. No pressure to buy a new one. The store was magnificently clean and customer friendly. Drinks, wifi and tablets were available if I chose to stay. I think I found my "go to mechanic" and I will highly recommend Honest 1.
