This was my first time here but i will definitely be a return customer. Brad was easy to talk to and explained things as they went along. The techs in the shop did a great job, pointed out some things of concern but weren't pushy about "do it right now". Waiting area was clean and comfortable. As a woman i felt safe. I will recommend this business to others and look forward to future visits.

The service is excellent, the owner explained in detail what was going to be done, and how much it would cost. The replacement part turned out to be defective and my car had to go back to the shop the following Monday when the new replacement part arrives.

I cannot praise Brad and his family at Honest1 Costa Mesa enough. A great family business who treats their customers like family. Last week my daughter's car broke down. My wife and I live up in the Bay Area and my daughter is away at school in Irvine. I had no clue where to take the car. It is always hard to find a good trustworthy mechanic in an unfamiliar area. I went to Yelp to look for recommendations and I stumbled across the good reviews at Honest1. I called ahead and told them that my daughter would be having the car towed to their facility. I was instantly put at ease when Brad's daughter answered the phone and she said "Don't worry, we will take good care of her". When my daughter got their she said that everyone was super nice. They said that they would look at the car and call back by the end of the day which they did. Unfortunately Brad called with the bad news that the issue was major and that it might not be worth it to repair. I told him that the defective parts were just slightly out of warranty and that they may have been defective to start with. Brad offered to go to bat for us and contact the manufacturer to see if he could get the repair covered under warranty. Unfortunately they said no like I thought they would but at least Brad gave it a try. Brad explained our options and we agreed that the $3600 repair was probably not worth it for the 14 year old car with 170,000 miles on it. Thank you Brad for taking care of my daughter and treating her like family and sharing your honest advice. Thank you.

SUPERIOR SERVICE!! Had a problem with my 16 year old vehicle hesitating to start and brought it in mid-day (after my 1st attempt to find an available car mechanic failed). Everyone was friendly and professional!! There was one person ahead of me, but I did not have to wait more than a few minutes for them to take my car to the back. Of course it started up just fine when they tried multiple times, and after a little bit more investigation they could not find anything wrong, and even offered to do a full diagnostic work up and take me to work if need be later in the week. They even printed out the battery status and such on a piece of paper for me to show what they checked and that everything was in good status. It is nice to know that there are still honest mechanic companies out there and that they didn't just "find" something wrong with my vehicle to make a few extra dollars. I would HIGHLY recommend their service to anyone.

A great place to take your car in for service. They are very reasonable and honest. Theplace is very comfortable and clean. I am thankful that I found them.
