I was brand new to Orange County from out of state and I wasn't sure where to go when my car started having white smoke and over heating issues. A friend recommended Honest1. Very helpful in assessing my car situation. Staff is friendly and wants to educate you with what's going on. Didn't feel any pressure for any added services that were completely necessary at the moment, but I appreciate the insights shared on some items to consider fixing in the near future - which I plan to get fixed. Thanks for an affordable service with my Honda Accord!

This is the best auto repair shop in costa mesa. they are straight up, they take care of you and work on your vehicle like it was their own.

Really loved this place!!!I called and made an appointment the day before. When I arrived i was greeted by very nice people in the front desk. Service was done promptly. Will definitely go back.

If I could give this business 6 stars out of 5, I would, since they deliver top notch customer service. I came in here a few weeks back because my mass air flow sensor had stopped working, and Brad McBride (whose family owns the place) was more than accommodating to walk me through the process, understand what wasn't working, and explain to me what needed to be fixed -- even letting me go into the repair area to watch as work was being done. Furthermore, he and his colleagues provided a ride for me to get home so I didn't have to hail an Uber/Lyft. If you are looking for that fix, don't look anywhere else!

I've come to Honest-1 multiple times now - to get my oil changed, tires aligned, and once to deal with an issue where my tires kept deflating and I couldn't figure out why. I'm not the most car savvy person, but I've always felt incredibly comfortable and cared for at Honest-1. All my questions get answered and they don't charge me any more than they should for services provided. Brad and Jim are always professional, friendly, and can get me in same day or next for service. They even go out of their way to get coupons to save me some cash on services, which I really appreciate. I never feel like I'm being "sold" on anything - for example, the last time I got my oil changed they recommended I get my air filter changed, and I asked why. They showed me my own air filter and showed me a new one to compare, and they let me make my own informed decision. (My air filter was pretty gross!) When I came in with my tire deflation issue, they helped me with it immediately, resolved the issue, explained it to me, and didn't even charge me for the service. I'm a million times grateful. It's this level of commitment to high quality service that keeps me coming back! (And as a side note, the waiting room is beautiful, tidy, and free drinks are provided. It's a nice place to hang while you wait for your car to be serviced. They're also attentive to sweet little details, like leaving a little piece of candy on your car after a service.)

Managed to drive over a large fat nail on my way out of town. Needed to find the closest repair tire shop to me and sure enough yelp helped me find one. After reading all the great reviews, I dropped by and gave them shot. In as little as 35 minutes they were able to get my car back to me with my tire patched up! Not as long as I had expected. The staff is great and their timing is excellent!
