I took my 2001 Cadillac in for starting problem, sometimes the car doesn't start due to a problem with the security system and it gives a message "Starting Disabled, wait 3 minuets". After they checked it, they had the mechanic speak to me, he told me that the problem will cost too much, but he can bypass the system and it will cost a lot less, then I spoke with Brad, he told me that bypassing the system will cost about $200 and I agreed. While working on the vehicle, Brad came to me and said, "we found the problem, it is this little part, and it will cost you the same" they ordered the part and I went 2 days later and they changed this part. I was planning to take the car on a long trip and lucky I didn't, I parked the car and road with a friend. When I came back, I got in the car and it didn't start, it gave me the same message "Starting Disabled, wait 3 minuets", and the problem is still happening, same as before. I took the car back, they checked it again and then Brad said "it is a new problem" it is the Body Control Module System. Brad said they cannot fix it as it has to be programmed at the dealer, but refused to refund me. Dishonest and inexperienced. I took the car to Orange Coast Auto Repair, they found the problem and fixed it, easy. it was the Ignition Switch. Honest-1 couldn't figure it out. they should go out of business.
