Getting your car serviced is like going to the dentist or the doctors- you dread going and keep your fingers crossed that there aren't any major discoveries. However, I've been to A1 on three separate occasions now, and I would have to say, that, overall, it's a pretty pleasant experience. Brad, the owner, is genuinely a honest, funny, and patient guy who does such a great job at explaining any work that needs to be done. Although during my most recent visit, it was discovered that I needed some extra work done, he explained to me that it didn't need to be done right away as it was not critical to the car being operational. Most mechanics won't tell you that. They are after your money. Brad is different. He understands that his customers have different needs and he does a great job of explaining what the options are. One of my favorite things about coming to A1 is the fact that whenever there's something that needs to be worked on, Brad will have one of the mechanics walk me over to the car, show me the item, and educate me if it's something I am not too familiar with. Today, his son Justin, worked on my car. He did a great job and was always pleasant in demeanor. He also took the time to explain an issue I was having with my car after he did some discovery work. In general, I think if you dread taking your car to the shop it's usually a sign that you don't have a lot of trust in your mechanic. After my 3rd visit here, I can confidently say that I don't dread having A1 work on my car. I already know what to expect- honest work, fair prices, great employees, Brad's great sense of humor, and being treated like a valued customer. If you're looking for a new place that you can trust, A1 is it!
